Commercial Head
Out client is a leading global supplier of technology and services is looking for the Commercial Head. Together with the General Manager, the Commercial Head will be responsible for the country’s overall business achievements and operational excellence in line with the Group strategic direction. Formulate and drive country specific strategic targets and goals. Set vision & mission, formulate growth strategy & plans. Drive culture changes to achieve long term sustainable & profitable business growth and strong position/brand of the company in the Vietnamese market. Represent the company at country level.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the overall interests of the Group with third parties
  • Take up positions and support the supervisory and administrative board
  • Provide overall management of businesses and functional operations to ensure realization of overall country strategic targets and KPIs
  • Provide insight to strategic plan. Formulate and deploy country specific growth strategy and plans in alignment with Group direction to achieve long-term and sustainable business growth
  • Drive the deployment of Group strategic direction/initiatives e.g. cross- BU business development, functional services optimization, etc
  • Ensure proper support of the Regional and Global team to expand business and market development reflecting market and customer needs
  • Implement Cross-divisional objectives
  • Foster strong relationships with key decision makers at senior level (internal/external), government bodies and industry groups
  • Formulate the positioning and branding at country level
  • Enable locally operating leaders to drive business advocacy through association and community
  • Ensure local business and operation to adhere and meet Group Company requirements and Local Legislation
  • Foster the development of company culture at country level
  • Cultivate and develop local and regional relationships, such as government relations, university relations, contacts to associations and players in industry
  • Establish and promote effective communication frame, including strategic dialogue throughout the organization
  • Establish effective/efficient organizational structure, taking into consideration future business growth
  • Provide deep insight, leadership and mentoring to develop strong leadership team and talents. Build a healthy succession and people pipeline to meet future company needs

Education

Master Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or Engineering

Qualification & Expertise

  • Min 10 years of business management exposure in leadership positions of MNCs with high interaction with different internal/external stakeholders. International working experience is an advantage
  • Well-developed communication skills for building and influencing internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and strategic thinking to develop new programs/concepts and solutions. Seasoned experience in leading and building high performance team
  • Hands-on, goal oriented and self-starter with strong business acumen, ability in managing ambiguity and drive changes to achieve entrepreneurial goals
  • Track record of success working closely with senior management (internal/external) with proven ability to grow the company position
  • High leadership reputation through building, enhancing and energizing organization in a matrix environment
