Job description

Supervisor: Sales Director



  • Maintenance and further development of customer base: build-up and development of customer contacts, spec. new customer development and acquisition, maximizing the client potential in designated regions. Developing long-term relationships.
  • Responsible for product demonstrations, presenting the HoG Catalog etc. to customers and at field events such as seminars, workshops and marketing activities.
  • Gathering customer information’s and updating customer details: corporate structure, organization, demand, sales reports, potential, decision makers etc. in an CRM System.
  • Calculating clients quotations and administering client accounts, negotiating projects, tenders and daily orders, so as contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance, product education and after-sales support services.
  • Fulfilling regular sales targets - area, product and company wise. 
  • Living and providing the Hoffmann USPs, values and culture to satisfy, all customers and the company to guaranteed the stable grows.
  • Identify all requirements of the customers such as technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
  • Active information exchange to all related managers, departments and technicians.  
  • Effective time and self-management to maximize the output for customer visits, sales activities etc.


  • Above average commercial understanding and business thinking
  • Good understanding and knowledge about the market, different industry groups and competitors, based on the local market, related to the product segment.
  • 3-5+ years relevant sales experience and familiarity of our industry and line of business, especially cutting tools.
  • Good knowledge of cutting tools and cutting tools business, strong presentation skills and negotiation skills, able to communicate professionally direct with the customers incl. written responses to emails.
  • Product, process and service knowledge, related to the industrial segment.
  • Good general technical understanding and ability to provide technical solutions for the customers, related to the product segment.
  • Good Knowledge about Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
  • Knowledge about CRM systems and b2c platform’s  of advantage
  • Good English skills of advantage
